Charles F. Cox was born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia and has been practicing law for more than 40 years.
Prior to joining Burchell MacDougall in 2024, Charles spent time as a lawyer in both Dartmouth and Halifax before returning to his hometown of Truro to open his own practice called C F. Cox Law Office.
Charles possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Law from Dalhousie University. Since 2010, Charles has completed the Chartered Director Program from McMaster University, receiving the designation C. Dir.
In 2012, Charles completed the Audit Committee Certified course from McMaster University, receiving the designation A.C.C. He has served on several boards at the executive level as chairperson, treasurer and secretary. Charles has held numerous executive and non-executive positions and remains an active community member of Truro and the surrounding community.
