Dominique Amit was born and raised in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. She received a Bachelor of Journalism with a Combined Honours in Political Science from the University of King’s College in 2020.
Dominique attended law school at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and received her Juris Doctor in 2023. During her time at Queen’s she worked as a caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid.
In 2024, following her call to the bar, Dominique joined Burchell MacDougall as an associate. Her practice will focus on corporate commercial matters, wills and estates, and residential real estate.
Dominique is excited to be practicing law in her home community. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and reading.
